The SP1257 is a portable Sulfur Dioxide monitor which has been designed to protect the safety of workers in dangerous work places. It operates for two years without replacing the battery or sensor. It is extremely small lightweight, and is low priced.

The small size and light weight make the SP1257 ideal for personal use. If the concentration of gas reaches a dangerous level, the SP1257 automatically makes vibration as well as visual and audible alarms. For the convenience of the users, a high-quality microprocessor is installed and contains automatic zero-calibration function, and one-touch span-calibration function. The SP1257 also monitors STEL (Short Term Exposure Limit) and TWA (Time Weighted Average) plus instant gas alarms. (Time Weighted Average) plus instant gas alarms. The loud audible alarm, vibration alarm and high-brightness Backlight are easily recognized. It has also been designed to prevent incorrect use by inexperienced or unauthorized users.
